BIO: Carole DeHaven is a retired from Purdue University.. She has specialized in Physical Education pedagogy at both the elementary and secondary levels. She lives in West Lafayette, Indiana.
Her interests continue to focus on teacher education, including best practice principles for effective quality physical education, fitness and teaching. She is also interested in methods and “hands on” learning and shares this with my methods classes through participation in the Purdue Home School Physical Education Program. She regularly presents at state and national conferences and has published work on aquatics in Strategies (a journal for physical and sport educators). Carole is a Past INSHAPE President. She lives in West Lafayette, Indiana.
