Practice What You Teach: The Wellness Lessons We Forget to Give Ourselves
Thursday November 5, 2026 8:55am - 10:20am EST
PE educators spend their days teaching students the importance of healthy habits, perseverance, recovery, and balance. Yet too often, the people encouraging others to thrive are running on empty themselves.

In this uplifting and energizing keynote, educator, author, and speaker Carrie Wisehart challenges participants to consider what happens when we extend ourselves the same encouragement, patience, and grace we so freely offer our students. Through humor, personal stories, and practical insights, Carrie explores how the very lessons we teach in the gym, on the field, and in the classroom can help us navigate stress, avoid burnout, and reconnect with what matters most.

Attendees will discover simple strategies to protect their energy, celebrate progress over perfection, and create more "Best Day Ever" moments, even during life's most challenging seasons. Because wellness is not about having perfect days. It is about recognizing the good, embracing growth, and staying connected to your purpose.

Participants will leave refreshed, inspired, and equipped with practical tools to sustain their well-being, strengthen their resilience, and continue making a positive impact on the students and communities they serve.

Joy by Design: Practical Wellness Strategies for Educators and Students
Thursday November 5, 2026 12:45pm - 1:30pm EST
Educators and students are navigating increasing stress, constant demands, and a world that rarely slows down. While we can't eliminate every challenge, we can intentionally create environments where both adults and students feel more connected, resilient, and energized.

In this engaging and interactive workshop, participants will explore practical strategies for protecting their own well-being while also supporting the emotional wellness of the students they serve. Through reflection, collaboration, and hands-on activities, educators will identify energy drains, discover simple joy-building practices, and learn realistic ways to create moments of connection throughout the school day.

Participants will leave with ready-to-use ideas for the classroom, gym, locker room, and beyond, including strategies for reducing stress, building belonging, celebrating progress, fostering resilience, and helping students develop healthy habits that support lifelong well-being.

Because wellness isn't one more thing to add to your plate. It's the foundation that helps everything else work better.
